Sala Keoku, also known as the Buddha Park of Nong Khai, spans 42 acres in Samakkhi Community, Mueang District. It has become a tourist attraction known for its large and unique concrete sculptures, numbering over 200. The sculptures include Buddha images, bodhisattvas, Hindu gods, Christian figures, local beliefs, and characters from the Ramayana. These structures were created by Luang Pu Bunleua Sulilat, who believed that all religions could coexist. Sala Keoku aims to represent a realm free from all defilements. Visitors often describe it as a visual representation of heaven and hell, offering moral lessons through its sculptures. It is considered a must-visit destination in Isan.
