Old Lopburi City Wall

The old city wall, fortresses, and watchtowers were originally very strong on all four sides. It is assumed they were built during the Lopburi period and expanded during the reign of King Ramathibodi I. The walls were dismantled and rebuilt during the reign of King Narai the Great, especially around the palace and the city corners.
